Habitat
Inhabits rough pastures and different rich in herbs grasslands and hay meadows, where can be found on leaves or flowers of herbaceous plants up to 700 m asl. Rarely also in warmer forest edges and forest steppes.
Abundance
Rare and early species, with fragmented distribution only in Central and Eastern Slovakia. Late mowing season (mid-June or later), allows the species to complete its life cycle. (N limit of its area)
